Major Oak Fishing Camps are delivered by our Head Fishing Coach, Colin. All our camps are run on a maximum of 8 children to 2 coach ratio, which means there is lots of opportunity to learn and catch fish!
Major Oak Fishing Camps can be booked as a half day (9.00am - 12.30pm or 1.00pm - 4.30pm) or as a full day (9.00am - 4.30pm). If children are attending for a full day, a packed lunch is required. Fishing camps are suitable for children aged 9 - 14.
The majority of Major Oak Fishing Camps are held on the local canal. Children will meet at our main holiday camp location and walk to the area we are due to fish. Full risk assessments are completed on the area chosen to fish on the day of the camp. Collection will be from the same place as the drop off.
All equipment required is provided, including fishing tackle and bait. As the majority of our fishing camps are in the spring and summer, please ensure your children are suitably dressed to be outside for sustained periods of time and have a hat, water and sun cream with them for the sessions.
